Cultivar was founded in Barcelona in 1974. All overseas importations are carried out from Barcelona, and merchandise is distributed throughout the rest of Spain using our centres in Madrid and Palma.
Mercabarna is in a strategic location: 5 minutes from the port and airport of Barcelona, 150 km from the French border and with excellent travel connections with the rest of Spain.

Mercamadrid has the highest turnover of any wholesale distribution centre in Spain. From Cultivar Madrid we have a radius of operations of up to approximately 400 km, and even reach markets such as Portugal and Morocco.
We opened and moved to our new premises in April 2010. A warehouse with the latest technology available for the treatment of fresh fruits and vegetables, that will allow us to improve customer service and will lead us to operational efficiency.

Mercapalma's fully refrigerated facilities are the most modern on the island. We supply the Balearic Islands from this centre, a market characterised by its high purchasing power and high level of tourism.
